Yes, you will need to return your RV with the same amount of fuel that you picked it up with. If you fail to do so, the refueling fee is a flat rate to cover the cost of gas plus time to refuel.
You can use your own E-Z Pass or pay tolls by cash.
On roads that use the license plate instead of E-Z Pass toll booths, drive-thru, we will bill the credit card on file.
Tolls can take up to 90 days after your return to be billed.
You will receive a receipt for payment.
We don't charge any processing fees on tolls. All charges are pass-thru costs.
No, you can return the RV with whatever amount of propane is remaining in the tank.
We ask that you dump the holding tanks before returning your RV. If your campground doesn't have a dump station or sewer hookups, go to RV Dump Stations for a dump station near you.
If you do not empty the tanks before returning your RV, there will be an additional fee of $75.
There is a three-night minimum required for rental. However, special events and holiday weekends require a four-day minimum.
Existing bookings may shift dates one time based on RV availability. Our RVs are booked months in advance, and date shifts are not guaranteed.
All of our RVs are either current-year or next-year’s models.
No, you do not need a CDL or special license. However, you must meet the following requirements to rent from Certified On-Site RV Service:
You will need an international driver’s license from your home country.
Our RVs are reserved months in advance, so we recommend booking your trip as soon as you know your dates.
You will be given a full orientation when you come to pick up your RV. Connecticut RV Rentals will demonstrate how to use all features and answer any questions you may have at that time. We will also provide you with links to short instructional videos in case you need a refresher once you have reached your destination.
You get 100 miles per night included with the rental. The miles are bankable, so if you travel 50 miles one day, you still have 50 miles to use on one of the other days of your trip.
You can book your trip either by visiting or website or by calling (860) 453-5011.
Your reservation deposit is made at the time of booking and is applied to your rental balance. The deposit and remaining balance are paid on the day of pickup.
There is a $950 deposit on all RVs to cover any incidents, just like at a normal hotel. The deposit is returned to you approximately 5 business days after your RV is returned.
We accept all major credit cards and cash as forms of payment. American Express will have an additional processing fee incurred on all trips less than 5 nights.
Checks of any kind are not accepted.
Yes, Connecticut RV Rentals offers free parking for one vehicle for the duration of your rental.
If you would like to park more than one vehicle at our facility, it will be available for a daily rate of $7.50.
All departures are between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. You will receive an appointment time for pick-up one week prior to your trip’s departure.
You must return the RV by 11:00 a.m. on the day of your last rental.
It will take approximately 60 minutes for orientation and paperwork to be completed on departure day. Due to this, all rental departures are by appointment only.
Connecticut RV Rentals entire fleet of RVs is completely self-contained, with kitchens and fully functional restrooms.
Before each RV is rented, Connecticut RV Rentals completes a deep cleaning inside and out. Connecticut RV Rentals asks that you return your RV in as close to the same condition as it was left our facility in as possible.
Connecticut RV Rentals allows dogs in all of our RVs. You will be charged a one-time deep cleaning fee of $75 per dog.
No other pets are permitted in any of our RVs.
Our entire RV fleet is smoke-free. This means absolutely no smoking, vaping, candles, incense, or campfire smoke is permitted in any RV.
If we discover that our smoke-free policy has been violated, additional cleaning charges will be assessed on a per-case basis, at a minimum of $900.
Call the closest law enforcement office and have an accident report taken at the time and location of the accident. A copy of this report must be provided to Connecticut RV Rentals when the RV unit is returned.
Connecticut RV Rentals must be contacted within 24 hours of any accident involving one of our RVs.
You are responsible for all interior and exterior damage to Connecticut RV Rentals during the rental period. That means you must pay for any necessary repairs, whether you are at fault or not. This includes, but is not limited to, damages caused by another member of your rental party and acts of nature (wind, rain, earthquake, fire, flood, etc.).
No, absolutely no one is allowed on the roof of any of our RVs, as they do not have walk-on roofs.
In Connecticut, RV rentals are not allowed in the following locations:
Connecticut RV Rentals reserves the right to cancel or extend an unreasonable trip, i.e., Nevada in less than 22 nights, Florida in less than 7 nights, etc.
We do not offer one-way RV rentals.
All of our units are current or next year, which means mechanical issues are rare.
Connecticut RV Rentals provides you with 24/7 roadside assistance to minimize any disruptions or delays to your trip. You also get our mobile number for emergency questions on RV functions while away!
Generators, TVs, appliances, etc. are not guaranteed, but they rarely fail as our units are serviced after every trip by our knowledgeable technical team.
Every RV in the fleet has an onboard generator that runs off of fuel from the main RV fuel tank. You are allotted 3 hours of generator run time per trip. Additional generator hours will be billed at $3.00 per hour or any portion thereof.
Towing is not permitted by any of our RV's.
Yes, you can bring your rental back early, but we do not give refunds or discounts for early returns.
The propane will typically last 2 weeks with normal usage, depending on the season.
Please let the office know ASAP if you think you will be running late, as these RVs are back out on the road the following day.
If you do not have a pre-approved late return, fees will be assessed, and they will add up quickly.
Please ensure to return the RV on time or communicate with the rental company if you anticipate any delays to avoid any inconvenience and additional charges.
While driving the RV, you can only have as many people as there are seatbelts in the RV. However, the number of seatbelts may be less than the number of sleeping spaces. For example, if an RV has five seatbelts but sleeps seven, you can only have five people ride in the RV while it is being driven. Any extra guests will need to ride in a separate vehicle.
Yes, Connecticut RV Rentals offers multiple discounts: repeat customer, veteran, active duty, and public servant (police, fire, or EMS) discounts are available. Ask your agent to see if anything applies.
The whole crew was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating of my schedule, I look forward to doing business with them again. THANK YOU!!!
